Welcome to 2026! 🎉
First day of the new year perfect time to learn how the Home Feed works. This is where everything happens on UniVerse: posts, stories, channels, anonymous, and updates from your university mates.
1. The Stories Row (Top of Feed)
At the very top, you'll see circular profile pictures these are Stories from people in your university.
- Red/orange ring = new stories to watch
- Tap any circle to view full screen stories (with video, reactions, and viewers)
- Your own story bubble is first (with + sign) tap to post your own!
2. The Main Feed
Below stories this is where the real action is:
- Posts from people in your university (chronological, no algorithm nonsense)
- Like ❤️, reply 💬, repost 🔄, or report if needed
- Tap username or avatar to visit profile
- Long-press post for more options (copy, share link)
3. Channels Tab (Bottom Navigation)
Swipe right or tap the Channels icon to see organized groups:
- Department channels (e.g., Computer Science 300L)
- Hostel, events, buy & sell, gist everything separated
- Join or create your own!
Why the Feed is Better Than WhatsApp Groups
- No message flooding posts stay visible
- Stories disappear after 24hrs (perfect for quick updates)
- Everything stays within your university safe and relevant
The Home Feed is your campus timeline. Open the app → you're instantly connected.
